A. Mineral sunscreen is very effective at blocking both UVA and UVB rays, providing broad-spectrum protection without some of the common grievances associated with chemical filters. We loved the benefits associated with mineral sunscreen, and wanted to create an experience that more people could love too.

A. We don't use fragrances, pthalates, parabens, PEGS, sulfates, or known irritants. We carefully select ingredients and meet Credo Clean standards.

A. Butyloctyl salicylate is an ingredient known to help stabilize and improve texture and spreadability of mineral sunscreens. When used at high percentages it can also absorb UV radiation. Zinc Oxide is our UV fulter, but we use a low percentage of butyloctyl salicylate to ensure a pleasurable application experience for more people.
