A. Mineral sunscreen is very effective at blocking both UVA and UVB rays, providing broad-spectrum protection without some of the common grievances associated with chemical filters. We loved the benefits associated with mineral sunscreen, and wanted to create an experience that more people could love too.

A. We don't use fragrances, pthalates, parabens, or known irritants. We carefully select ingredients in partnership with expert chemists, and use the Environmental Working Group (EWG) as a benchmark to help guide our choices.

A. Butyloctyl salicylate is an ingredient known to help stabilize and improve texture and spreadability of mineral sunscreens. When used at high percentages it can also absorb UV radiation. The One uses a low percentage of butyloctyl salicylate to ensure a pleasurable application experience for more people. The One is formulated with 15% non-nano zinc oxide as its UV filter and reaches an SPF factor of 34.
